QR Codes

QR Codes are two-dimensional bar codes that occasionally appear in catalogs, magazines, store windows, signs, and business cards. I like to think of them as hyperlinks in print.

Most modern smartphones with digital cameras, like the Blackberry, Droid, and iPhone, have apps that use its' camera to read 2D bar codes. Usually these codes contain a web address, contact information, or a simple message.

I chose to include a QR Code on my business card and letterhead, and even as my identity. If you happen to have a QR Code reader app on your phone, my code will direct you to this website.

There are many QR Code apps for smartphones, some are better than others, and are either free or only costs 2 or 3 bucks.
